That was my diagnosis on 8/29/97. My life changed that day. While researching my disease, I found quite a bit of information, but not much in the way of "how it feels" to go through it. That's why I put up this web site. Hopefully, if you have been diagnosed with this, or know someone who has, you will find something useful, comforting, or new here. My hope is that it will help you to put things into perspective. It's no fun, but it can be done . . .

Please use the links at the bottom to go to an area that looks interesting to you. For now, "My Story" consists of 4 "chapters" that outline my experience, to date, with SCC. The "Links Page" provides resources that I came across in my research. And the "Photo Gallery" is both a tribute to those that helped me in my fight against this disease, and a look at some of the equipment I used in my radiotherapy treatments.
